Data-focused cloud Analyst Programmer/ Data Engineer (AWS/GCP)

Salary: $35,000 – $45,000 per month

Our client is now looking for talents to join their team: It is a hybrid Analyst‑Programmer role, Focus on Data Engineer duties, NOT a pure backend application developer.

Job duties:

● Conduct user requirement analysis, design for in-house development project.

● Undertake system development including programming, testing, implementation and related system maintenance, enhancements, and support tasks

● Design and develop cloud-native application components— serverless APIs, event-driven data pipelines, and containerized batch jobs

● Design and implement relational data models, database objects and data access logi

● Prepare technical specifications, unit and integration test plans, and system documentation; participate in peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.

● Support user acceptance testing, production cutover, parallel run and post-implementation stabilization.

Requirements:

● Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or equivalent

● Minimum 4 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in cloud development.

● Solid experience in cloud platform e.g. AWS, GCP — hands-on exposure to serverless and managed data service

● Strong programming skills in Python.

● Experienced in SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with strong SQL writing and query performance tuning ability.

● Experienced in data modelling / Spark framework / API implementation (RESTful).

● Practical experience in data integration, ETL / ELT, or streaming data pipelines.

● Familiar with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery practices.

● Hands-on experience with MDM/Customer 360, entity resolution, data quality management, Kafka/CDC, infrastructure as code (IaC), and Apache Airflow will be an added advantage. (not a must to have)
