📋 What You'll Architect

As a Data Governance Platform Implementation Consultant, you will help organisations transform complexity into measurable outcomes by combining technology, data, intelligence, and human decision-making.

This role is both technical and consultative - perfect for someone who can combine hands-on development, solution design, and leadership of client delivery. We’re looking for professionals who think like architects and act like builders.

You will lead the implementation of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), with a focus on Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), delivering an MVP that will serve as the blueprint for future deployments in multiple countries.

Working closely with central data teams, regional stakeholders, and data governance leaders, you will play a key role in defining how the platform should be configured, activated, and scaled, balancing business value, governance objectives, and operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Informatica IDMC / CDGC, establishing the foundation for a global data governance platform

• Configure connectors, source system integrations, scanning and profiling capabilities across the organisation

• Define and recommend platform activation priorities, advising stakeholders on the most effective implementation approach

• Assess and communicate the cost implications of configuration choices and regional requirements

• Collaborate with international stakeholders, including central data teams, US-based governance teams, and regional business units

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance, implementation recommendations, and governance best practices.

🛠️ What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Management, or related disciplines

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solutions and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise-scale data governance, metadata management, or data catalog initiatives and implementation

• Experience working within multinational, federated, or multi-entity environments

• Professional fluency in English.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong expertise in Informatica IDMC, including platform configuration and deployment

• Experience configuring connectors, source onboarding, scanning, profiling, and metadata discovery processes

• Ability to define implementation priorities and make architecture-level recommendations

• Understanding of data governance operating models, data ownership, stewardship, and domain-based approaches

• Ability to evaluate and articulate the operational and financial impact of technical decisions

• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills

• Experience working with APIs, integrations, and enterprise data platform ecosystems

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience defining data governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines

• Previous experience in the insurance, financial services, or assistance services sectors

• Exposure to large-scale international transformation programmes

• Experience working alongside Informatica Professional Services teams

• Knowledge of emerging trends in Data Management, Data Governance, AI, and GenAI-enabled optimisation

• Relevant Informatica certifications.

• Bottom of the range
  You meet the core requirements and will need ramp-up time and support.

• Middle of the range

• Top of the range
