Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Governance/Quality Engineer to join a large multinational organization operating across diverse business domains. This hybrid role is focused on building reliable data solutions, strengthening Data Governance and Data Lineage capabilities, and enabling trusted analytics across the enterprise.
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Data Quality, Collibra Data Quality, Python engineering, and PL/SQL development. You will work closely with data stewards, governance teams, analytics stakeholders, and engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize data quality solutions that improve confidence in enterprise data and support critical business decision‑making.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design data quality solutions using Collibra Data Quality capabilities and custom Python logic to detect, measure, and remediate data issues across critical enterprise datasets.
- Develop robust Python components that automate data profiling, anomaly detection, and rule‑based validations to ensure trusted data is available for analytics and reporting.
- Build and optimize PL/SQL procedures and queries supporting complex data transformations, reconciliation processes, and high‑performance data pipelines.
- Implement repeatable data quality controls that improve completeness, accuracy,
- Integrate data quality outputs — including scores, exceptions, and remediation status — into dashboards, operational workflows, and business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents involving data quality pipelines, Python services, and PL/SQL processes through root cause analysis and durable corrective actions.
- Optimize data quality solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability through query tuning, Python code improvements, and Collibra configuration enhancements.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Strong practical experience with Collibra Data Quality, including configuration of rules, scorecards, monitoring capabilities, and integration patterns within enterprise data landscapes.
- Advanced Python development skills with expertise in modular architecture, error handling, unit testing frameworks, automation, and efficient processing of large structured datasets.
- Solid PL/SQL expertise, including complex query development, performance tuning, set‑based processing, stored procedures, functions, and data transformation logic.
- Strong understanding of Data Quality principles, dimensions, metrics, and enterprise data governance practices.
- Proven knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management frameworks and how they guide the design of sustainable control environments.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data quality monitoring and remediation processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative software development workflows.
