Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelines. Keep them current with regulatory requirements and business needs
- Support the department's communication strategy to raise data literacy and data management awareness
- Refine and embed data and AI governance practices to establish clear ownership and accountability
- Guide business units to meet their goals in a compliant, effective, and efficient manner through data and technology
- Design and implement monitoring approaches for data cataloguing, lineage, and usage
- Provide oversight to country offices and subsidiaries to ensure governance practices and standards stay aligned
What we're looking
- Degree from a recognized institution. 8+ years total experience, including 3+ years in data or AI governance, data management, audit, or compliance within insurance or financial services
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
- Solid grasp of data management disciplines, including master/reference data management and data quality management
- Strong change management skills, ideally from organizational transformation program
- Experience operationalizing governance processes is a plus
- Experience in IT Service Management is a plus
- Familiarity with data architecture and current technology landscape (cloud, data warehousing, AI/ML)
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
