Data Governance Lead

• Define, maintain and enhance the data governance strategy, framework, and operating model.

• Translate the bank's data policy into an annual governance roadmap.

• Escalate material data risks and issues to senior management and risk committees.

• Establish the data quality management program: DQ rules, thresholds, monitoring, issue management and remediation tracking.

• Manage the business glossary, data dictionary, data catalogue and data lineage.

• Lead and oversee the data governance team.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Finance, Business or related field.

• 8–10 years in data management, governance, data quality, with 3–5 years in banking or financial services.

• Proven track record designing and operationalising a governance framework, policy and operating model.

• Strong knowledge of Data Quality management, metadata, lineage, critical data elements and issue management.

• Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, NIST, ISO, COBIT, or similar governance, security, and risk practices is advantageous.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
