Data ingestion *SAP SLT* *S/4 HANA* *Snowflake*

At EPAM NEORIS, we are looking for a DATA INGESTION SAP SLT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and configure data replication scenarios using SAP SLT from multiple SAP sources (ECC) to SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud.
• Define start-up and replication strategies in real time to ensure transactional consistency.
• Monitor and optimize replication performance, managing massive data volumes. Collaborate with architecture, BI, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document data architectures, integration flows, and operational procedures.
• Implement data quality controls and reconciliation mechanisms between sources and destinations.
• Participate in data platform modernization initiatives, including exploring cloud destinations such as Snowflake.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in data integration roles in SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SLT: configuring replication servers, mapping tables, handling LTRS transformations, handling log tables, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA Enterprise: data modeling (calculation views, attribute views), basic administration, query optimization, and schema management.
• Understanding of the SAP ECC or S/4HANA data model (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP or other relevant modules).
• Experience designing data architectures for real-time and batch replication environments.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
