Data Integration Analyst
Summary
Builds and maintains data pipelines with Talend and SQL to integrate, cleanse, and transform data for reporting and dashboards.
Role : Talend Data Integration & Informatica BDM
Responsiblities:
- Analyse and integrate data from multiple sources to support business and performance objectives.
- Extract, cleanse, normalise and transform data for analysis, reporting and dashboard visualisation.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Talend and support data integration activities.
- Work with data engineering teams to improve data warehouses and manage data across the lifecycle from source to analysis and modelling.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data workflows and analytics processes.
- Create and maintain dashboards and data visualisations using BI tools.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to understand business requirements, refine problem statements and evaluate data solutions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support automation within the assigned area.
- Follow established security, service management, operational and data governance standards.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Key Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis and data visualisation.
- Hands-on experience with Talend.
- Proficiency in SQL, including developing and maintaining complex queries and data pipelines.
- Experience with Python, R or a similar scripting language for data analytics workflows.
- Experience developing dashboards and data visualisations using commercial or open-source BI tools.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand business requirements and work with technical and business stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
Good to Have
- Experience with Informatica BDM.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudera or other cloud platforms.
- Experience in data pipeline or database development.
- Knowledge of statistical modelling, predictive analytics or machine learning.
- Certification in platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, Informatica, Talend, Microsoft, SAS or IBM.
- Knowledge of data lifecycle management and data warehouse concepts.
