Data Integration Analyst
Summary
You integrate and normalize financial market, trade, news, and corporate-event data into a standardized schema, mapping fields and coordinating with clients and vendors.
You onboard and normalize external trade, market, reference, news, and corporate-event data into a standardized schema. You map source fields, coordinate with clients and vendors, validate feeds through UAT, maintain documentation, monitor data quality, and resolve schema gaps with product and R&D teams.
Responsibilities
- Onboard client trade data into the normalized target format
- Specify transmission methods including flat files, SFTP, APIs, Kafka JSON, and FIX
- Map source fields to the standardized schema
- Coordinate and integrate market data feeds
- Scope market-data requirements including Level 1 and Level 2 depth
- Work with vendors to obtain market data
- Handle news, corporate-event, client-reference, and other vendor feeds
- Drive integrations from initial samples through validated production ingestion
- Maintain mapping documentation and source-to-target references
- Monitor feed health and data quality
- Flag anomalies and communicate schema gaps to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, data analysis, support, technical onboarding, or business and operations analysis
- High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with structured data, schemas, field-level mapping, and tabular formats
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong service orientation and ownership
- Exposure to data integration, ETL, or adapter development workflows
- Scripting or query experience such as Python or SQL
- Experience with financial or market data or trading systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Level 1 and Level 2 market data and order and execution lifecycle concepts is a plus
