Virtual Labs is hiring a Data Integration Engineer (remote, India) to build secure enterprise data integrations for a pharma-domain client using REST APIs, JDBC/ODBC, S3 and event streams, with Node.js/TypeScript, Microsoft Entra ID auth (OIDC/OAuth2, MSAL.js), and Databricks SQL. Pharma background and immediate availability required.

Data Integration Engineer
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in enterprise systems & data integrations – REST APIs, JDBC/ODBC, File/S3, and event streams.
- Hands-on Node.js / TypeScript, including Express APIs and server-side authentication/authorization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, App Registrations, OIDC/OAuth2, JWT/JWKS, App Roles and Group Claims.
- Experience with React SPA authentication using MSAL.js or equivalent OIDC clients.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Databricks SQL or equivalent warehouse/lakehouse serving layers.
- Experience designing RBAC and mapping enterprise directory groups to application roles.
- Strong understanding of data integration for regulated data, including lineage, auditability, deterministic matching, idempotency, retries and reconciliation.
Nice to Have:
- Databricks – Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, SQL Warehouse.
- Entity resolution / record linkage with confidence scoring and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- SCIM, user provisioning, MFA and migration from shared/service accounts to federated identity.
- Life Sciences / Pharma or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted or agentic applications and observability.
