Data Migration Engineer

At DAC.digital, we are constantly growing our business. As part of our growth strategy, we are starting a strategic partnership with one of the biggest consulting companies in Germany with a strong focus on Data Management. Their clients include major banking, insurance, retail, telecommunications, and automotive brands. Key information: Salary: 23 000 - 25 000 PLN net/month - pure B2B contract 20 000 –22 000 PLN net/month – B2B contract (days off included) It is vital that you have: hands-on experience with Snowflake in real implementation projects; practical experience with dbt in production environments (models, tests, sources); solid knowledge of AWS services, including S3, IAM, and EC2, with the ability to work independently; proficiency in Python for data extraction, automation, and tooling; experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, including code reviews and deployment across environments; knowledge of English (min. B2); working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); high communication skills; eager to learn and share knowledge. Nice to have technologies: basic Apache Airflow (creating and maintaining DAGs in Python) Teradata (BTEQ, stored procedures) experience with data warehouse migration and modernisation projects Technology stack: Snowflake dbt AWS (S3, IAM, EC2) Python / dlt CI/CD + Git You will be responsible for supporting our team in: supporting the migration of an enterprise data warehouse from Teradata and Informatica to Snowflake on AWS; developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines using dbt in a production environment; building data extraction and ingestion processes with Python and dlt; creating and maintaining Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate end-to-end data workflows; performing source analysis, data modelling, conversion, and parity testing to ensure successful migration outcomes; working with Git and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions; leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools (including Cortex Code CLI) to support code conversion and standardisation processes; collaborating closely with solution architects, data engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud data platform solutions; contributing to technical design, development standards, and best practices for modern data engineering and migration projects; participating in a large-scale, business-critical enterprise data warehouse modernisation initiative.
