Summary
Designs, builds, and deploys data migration plans, writing complex SQL and PL/SQL to transform large datasets and troubleshooting migration issues. Core stack is Oracle DBMS with ETL frameworks such as Informatica PowerCenter or Talend.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy data migration plans to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to transform and manipulate large datasets for migration purposes.
- Troubleshoot issues during the migration process, identifying root causes and implementing fixes to minimize downtime.
Job Requirements :
- 3-8 years of experience in Data Migration Engineering or related field.
- Strong expertise in Oracle database management system (DBMS) including SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
- Proficiency in data modeling, orchestration, and transformation techniques using various tools such as ETL frameworks like Informatica PowerCenter or Talend.
