Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Good experience with at least one ETL tool, such as Informatica, Talend, IBM DataStage, SSIS, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, transformation, validation, and automation.
- Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, performance tuning, and data validation.
- Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, source-to-target mapping, and data reconciliation.
- Experience leading data migration development activities and handling complex technical challenges.
- Ability to review code, guide developers, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of migration solutions.
Good to Have
- Experience in core banking or other banking application migration projects.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience handling large volumes of data and optimizing migration performance.
- Understanding of data quality management, data governance, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Experience coordinating mock migrations, cutover planning, and production migration execution.
