Data Migration Project Manager
Summary
Oversee a data-migration project for a central-government transformation programme, coordinating stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of a data migration workstream within a large-scale transformation programme.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, delivery schedules, governance controls and reporting mechanisms.
- Managing project finances, risks, issues, dependencies and programme reporting.
- Coordinating internal teams, suppliers, technical specialists and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Overseeing migration activities including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, loading and cutover planning.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting delivery against key programme milestones.
- Active Security Clearance (SC) - this is an essential requirement.
- A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering data migration projects within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong project planning, governance and project controls expertise.
- Experience managing project finances, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Experience managing suppliers, technical teams and third-party delivery partners.
- Experience working within Central Government environments.
- Experience delivering Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Enterprise Resource Planning or Customer Relationship Management migrations.
- Oracle Fusion programme experience.
- Exposure to Workday, SAP, ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and reconciliation processes.
- Experience supporting business transformation or transition programmes in multi-supplier environments.
Location: Anywhere in the UK (with ad hoc travel as required by the business)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
