Job Summary

Position: Data Operations Intern

Duration: 3-6 Months (extendable based on performance)

The role involves supporting research, documentation and data management of movies and other digital content for content licensing, distribution and digital platforms. The intern will work extensively with Excel, Google Sheets and content databases, research Telugu movies, maintain data records and assist in preparing reports and trackers. This internship offers practical exposure to data management and business operations within the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets containing movie details, content information and licensing records.
• Research Telugu movies, including titles, cast, crew, directors, production houses, genres and other relevant information.
• Organise, clean and validate large volumes of data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Use MS Excel and Google Sheets to maintain trackers, analyse data and generate periodic reports.
• Assist in tracking content acquisition, licensing, distribution and delivery-related information.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations and data summaries for internal teams.
• Coordinate with different teams to collect, verify and update content-related information.
• Research and compile information on movies, production houses and the Telugu film industry.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and trends, and assist in improving data accuracy.
• Support day-to-day documentation and operational activities related to digital content management and distribution.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, sorting, filtering and Pivot Tables are an advantage).
• Good data handling, data organisation and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Telugu cinema, actors, directors, production houses and the film industry.
• Good research and information-gathering skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
