What you'll do

Are you motivated by ensuring a critical data platform operates reliably, securely, and efficiently?

Do you enjoy being the person who guarantees that data teams can work without friction, with well-operated platforms that are ready to scale?

At Eroski, we are undertaking a strategic process to evolve our data and analytics ecosystem. You will have a key role in the operation, stability, and evolution of the data platform, especially in Cloudera and hybrid cloud environments.

• Administration, operation, and evolution of the data platform, with a focus on Cloudera and its integration with the corporate ecosystem.

• Guaranteeing the availability, performance, capacity, security, hardening, and monitoring of the platform.

• Management of incidents, changes, upgrades, and troubleshooting, driving continuous service improvement.

• Automation of operational and deployment tasks to increase the reliability and efficiency of the platform.

• Collaboration with data engineering, analytics, and architecture teams, ensuring connectivity and interoperability with on-prem and cloud environments (Oracle DWH, Denodo, GCP, Azure), as well as other functions inherent to the role.

What you'll get

At Eroski, we believe in people and their capacity to transform the environment. That is why we offer you much more than a job: we invite you to be part of a shared project, with purpose and long-term scope.

• Contract: permanent or joining as a partner (socia/o), with a clear orientation toward job stability.

• Your time matters: flexible hours, hybrid work (two days a week), and a digital disconnection policy.

• Professional development tailored to you: you will be part of a strategic data project, with a real impact on service quality, delivery speed, and future evolution toward advanced analytics and AI.

• We take care of you: online doctor, free psychological assistance, digital physiotherapy platform, annual medical check-up, parking, and a dining room with homemade and healthy food (also available to take away).

o If you are a partner (socia/o): access to the Lagunaro medical network and banking advantages with Laboral Kutxa.

• Additional benefits: MasXmenos program, with tax advantages and the possibility of accessing the Basque language (euskera) plan.

• An environment where your voice counts: we believe in shared leadership, collaboration, and active participation, promoting an agile, flexible, and inclusive environment, with a firm commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion.

Gross annual salary: 42,000-49,000

Requirements

We are looking for people with a background in Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, ADE, or Data Governance and solid experience in the operation of data platforms and complex analytical environments. We value experience in big data and hybrid on-premise and cloud environments, with knowledge of Cloudera, distributed processing, and technologies such as PySpark, SQL, Apache Iceberg, dbt, GCP, or Azure, as well as corporate environments such as Oracle DWH and Denodo.

People like you: with a service mindset, who understand the platform as an internal product, methodical, oriented toward continuous improvement, automation, and service quality, with a collaborative and proactive attitude.
