Data Platform Engineer

We are partnered with a global life insurer to strengthen the shared data infrastructure supporting its regional AI Centre of Excellence and Asian businesses. As AI use cases develop across markets, scalable platform services will be essential to enabling secure, repeatable delivery.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will build and operate the environments on which data and AI teams depend. Working across cloud infrastructure, automation and reliability, you will create reusable services and self-service capabilities that help teams move efficiently while maintaining enterprise controls.

• Engineer and operate data flows within AWS-based lakehouse platforms.
• Automate infrastructure and environment provisioning.
• Support platform access management and deployment pipelines.
• Establish monitoring and reliability engineering practices.
• Develop reusable platform services and self-service patterns, including generative AI-enabled business intelligence.
• Manage availability, performance and cost as workload requirements evolve.

• Experience building and operating secure enterprise data infrastructure.
• Hands-on cloud platform and infrastructure automation capability.
• Knowledge of deployment pipelines, monitoring and reliability practices.
• Experience implementing access and operational controls.
• Ability to balance platform usability with security and operational requirements.

Experience supporting data and AI workloads across multiple teams or markets.
