Data Platform Engineer

We're looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our central Data team and help build the technology powering our data-driven future. Your role As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll build, optimise and operate our enterprise data platform, combining cloud engineering, automation and DataOps to deliver reliable, secure and scalable solutions. Working closely with the Data Platform Lead, Data Architects and Data Engineers, you'll help shape our platform architecture, automate processes and enable teams across Bnode to work effectively with data. What will you be doing? Build, maintain and optimise our cloud-based data platform using AWS and Snowflake . Develop and operate data ingestion, transformation and orchestration capabilities using technologies such as dbt and Airflow . Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment and platform operations. Develop reusable templates, frameworks and automation tools using Python and SQL . Implement secure access management, role-based permissions, encryption and data governance controls. Monitor and improve platform performance, reliability, scalability and cloud costs. Collaborate with engineering, architecture and security teams to resolve technical challenges and continuously improve the platform.
