Data Platform Engineer - Investment Management IT Infrastructure

In this role you design, implement and manage a scalable, secure Snowflake-based data platform within a data mesh environment. You collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps and security experts to ensure robust, compliant operations and continuous improvement. You will leverage Snowflake, dbt, Azure and IaC to build a future-proof platform that enables data-driven decision-making. You drive automation, monitoring and innovation to support a central hub for data exchange and analytics.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure to support scalable data operations
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of the data platform
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and IaC solutions
• Monitor, test and manage infrastructure for stable operations
• Research and apply innovative technologies to improve efficiency, security and speed
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers and security experts to continuously improve the platform

• Proficiency with Snowflake and dbt
• Scripting and automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, Azure DevOps
• Azure Cloud expertise: Compute, Networking & Storage
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell
• Containerisation: Kubernetes
• 4–10 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience translating requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (C1)
