Summary
Data platform engineer at Lunar building real-time Flink streaming ingestion pipelines and owning end-to-end data-platform projects from ingestion to the warehouse. Day to day: reliable warehouse operations, Terraform-based cloud provisioning, Kubernetes services, and stakeholder support using agentic workflows.
You will build real-time streaming ingestion pipelines and deliver end-to-end data-platform projects. You will maintain reliable warehouse operations, provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform, run services in Kubernetes, and support business stakeholders with data requests using agentic workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build Flink streaming ingestion pipelines with streamhouse technologies
- Own end-to-end projects across the data stack from ingestion to the warehouse
- Ensure reliable daily data warehouse operations
- Provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Run services in Kubernetes
- Support business stakeholders with data requests and agentic workflows
Requirements
- Data engineering experience
- Experience owning platform-level systems
- Experience with stream data processing using Flink, Spark, or similar tools
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP
- Ability to make architectural trade-offs
- Programming experience with Golang, Scala, or Python
- SQL
- Ability to work with non-engineering stakeholders
