Detailed Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Product & Governance Lead to lead data governance, data product management, and enterprise data integration initiatives. The role will drive the development of trusted, high-quality data products, establish governance frameworks, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern data platforms, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and governance practices, with preferred experience in the Aviation & Airline domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the lifecycle of enterprise data products aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and stewardship models.
• Drive data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data catalog initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and maintain business glossaries, governance documentation, and data product roadmaps.
• Monitor data quality KPIs and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Oversee data integration, transformation, and reporting processes across enterprise platforms.
• Facilitate governance councils, stakeholder workshops, and executive reporting.

Skills, Tools & Systems Experience

• Data Integration: StreamSets Data Collector, Fivetran, DBT, Apache Airflow
• Data Platforms: Snowflake, Atlan
• Data Management: Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema), Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality Management, Master Data Management (MDM)
• Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, Data Analysis, Reporting & Dashboarding
• Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Data Product Management, Data Governance Best Practices

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred certifications in:
• Data Integration Technologies
• Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
• Snowflake
• DBT
• CDMP / DAMA Data Governance
• Azure, AWS, or GCP Data Certifications

Experience

• 8-12+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Product Management, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and Analytics.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise data governance and data product initiatives.
