Data Product Manager
Salary: 1185 per day
We're partnering with the Department of Education to find an experienced Data Product Manager to join the high-profile Education Queensland Insights Platform (EQIP) Program.This is a purposeful contract opportunity with genuine impact. EQIP is establishing the department’s first centralised, unified repository for priority data—providing trusted and timely insights to teachers, school leaders and early childhood teams, and ultimately supporting better outcomes for Queensland children.
Working at the intersection of business and technology, the Data Product Manager will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise data products that support evidence-informed decision-making across the department.
Key areas of focus include:
- Defining the vision, strategy and roadmap for enterprise data products
- Leading multidisciplinary data squads within an Agile delivery environment
- Translating business priorities into clear product backlogs and delivery outcomes
- Building trusted relationships across business and technology teams
- Embedding data governance, privacy, security and quality requirements
- Driving product adoption, stakeholder confidence and measurable business value
