Data Protection Consulting [PDPA/ DPO] (Experienced Hires)
Key Responsibilities
Advisory and Compliance
Research and prepare PDPA advice for client-specific matters.
Support advisory work on the collection, use and disclosure of personal data.
Assist with DNC Registry requirements, data breach assessments and notification analyses.
Monitor PDPC guidelines, decisions and enforcement developments relevant to clients.
Documentation and Client Support
Prepare and review privacy notices, policies, consent clauses, retention schedules and data processing terms.
Draft client deliverables, including memoranda, gap analyses, remediation plans and training materials.
Maintain engagement files, working papers and audit trails.
Support outsourced DPO engagements, client meetings, proposals and training sessions.
What We Are Looking For
Requirements
Relevant qualification in law, information security, compliance, risk management or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in data protection, compliance, risk, legal, consultancy or professional services work.
Working knowledge of the Singapore PDPA and PDPC advisory guidelines.
Strong written communication skills and ability to explain technical matters clearly to clients.
Ability to manage multiple client matters, prioritise tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
Good to Have
Exposure to outsourced or in-house DPO work.
Understanding of information security concepts and how controls support the PDPA’s Protection Obligation.
