Data QA Engineer

• Data QA Engineer Experience: 5 YearsLocation: Remote (May require a visit to the client office in Bangalore once every 6 months, if needed. Travel expenses will be covered by client.)
• Required Skills
• Strong experience in Data QA and Data Quality Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL and ETL Testing skills.
• Experience in Data Reconciliation and Source-to-Target Validation.
• Good knowledge of Python scripting for data testing and validation.
• Understanding of data integrity, accuracy, and quality checks.
• Experience in defect tracking, RCA, and test documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data validation across source and target systems.
• Test ETL workflows, data transformations, and pipelines.
• Identify data mismatches through reconciliation and validation.
• Use SQL, Python, and Azure Databricks for testing activities.
• Manage defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure closure.
• Prepare test cases, maintain evidence, and share QA reports.
• Support release readiness and QA sign-off.

• Please share relevant bench profiles with strong hands-on experience in Azure Databricks, SQL, ETL Testing, Python, and Data Reconciliation. Generic Manual QA profiles will not be considered.
