Data Quality Engineer (Contractual | Mid-level)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data quality rules, including validation, duplicate detection, and format checks.




• Develop and maintain automated data validation and testing for ETL/data pipelines.




• Monitor data quality metrics, perform data profiling, and investigate data anomalies.

• Identify root causes of data issues and collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to resolve them.




• Ensure data compliance with governance, privacy, and regulatory standards.




• Document data quality standards, processes, and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of working experience




• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and ETL/Data Flows.




• Experience in data quality, data validation, and data profiling.




• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance.




• Nice to have: Experience with Apache NiFi.




• Willing to work in a hybrid, dayshift setup in BGC.




• Open to contractual setup (6 months initial contract with high possibility of extension)
