As a Data Risk Senior Associate at PwC, you will play a critical role in protecting our global data assets and reputation. Your work ensures our data risk and compliance frameworks are robust, enabling the firm to create value through trusted data insights and technology innovation. What you’ll do:
Identify, assess, and monitor data risks across privacy, security, quality, and compliance domains.
Support the implementation of data risk frameworks, controls, and mitigation strategies aligned with organisational policies.
Conduct control testing, risk assessments, and support remediation of gaps and data issues.
Collaborate with data owners, legal, compliance, and technology teams to embed risk management practices and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.
What we’re looking for:
Core skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven ability to apply risk assessment methodologies and perform control design and effectiveness testing.
Strong understanding of data risk domains and familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance programs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Desirable skills
Experience in incident management processes or data risk frameworks.
Proficiency with risk, governance, or reporting tools and standard office productivity software.
