Data Science Internship (Scoring and Models Area)

What we're looking for

Are you passionate about the world of data and want to take your first steps in a high-performance team? We offer you an internship in our Data Scientists team within the Scoring and Models Area.

The internship would begin in September.

In this position, you will work in a guided and supervised manner, collaborating directly on real projects with a great impact on the business.

You will learn and collaborate throughout the entire data and modeling lifecycle, performing the following tasks:

Data Management and Preparation:

Accessing the company's various databases to perform queries and data extractions using SQL language.

Data quality analysis, cleaning, and imputation of null values and outliers.

Treatment, preparation, and Feature Engineering of variables for consumption by the Risk Area.

Modeling and Advanced Analytics:

Collaborating in the selection of the most suitable strategy and algorithm family according to the business problem to be solved.

Implementing code snippets for the models.

Production Deployment and Monitoring:

Managing the request to IT for the deployment and putting into Production of the final solution.

Monitoring the performance of already deployed models.

Business and Team Support:

Execution of key processes for decision-making in the Risk Area.

Active participation in work team meetings.

Studies, Degree in: Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering (Computer Science,
Telecommunications…), Physics, Quantitative Economics or related Double Degrees
Knowledge of programming languages for data analysis, valuing Python and
PySpark. Knowledge of databases and SQL
