Data Science Specialist (Remote)

Hire Feed is recruiting a Data Scientist on behalf of a client — a global technology, information and internet company. Day to day the person builds and validates predictive ML models, cleans and analyzes large datasets, maintains data pipelines, and documents insights, using Python/R, TensorFlow/PyTorch/scikit-learn, SQL, and cloud platforms.
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Data Scientist to work on a full-time basis. The role involves developing and deploying machine learning models to enhance decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and validate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong background in statistics, probability, and experimental design.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management for data extraction and manipulation.
- Ability to work with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to translate data insights into business strategies.
