Role details:

• Title / Designation: Data Scientist
• Location: Manila (Hybrid)

Role & responsibilities:

• Own data science projects end-to-end, from identifying business problems and opportunities to developing solutions and measuring business impact.
• Work closely with business, operations, and transformation stakeholders to understand business models, operational challenges, and identify opportunities where data science can create value.
• Leverage existing and new data sources to perform diagnostic, predictive, and ML-assisted analytics and generate actionable business insights.
• Use SQL, Python, and advanced Excel to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and apply basic machine learning models where appropriate, and work with relevant teams to deploy and operationalize data-driven solutions.
• Track, measure, and continuously optimize the performance and business impact of analytics solutions while clearly communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong experience in Data Science / Analytics with hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and Advanced Excel.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning concepts and experience in predictive, diagnostic, or ML-assisted analytics.
• Strong business and analytical acumen with the ability to identify business problems and convert data into actionable insights.
• Experience working with business, operations, and transformation teams to deliver and measure data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; cloud exposure is an added advantage.
• Candidates from Travel, Hospitality, Airlines, OTAs, Logistics, Transportation, or related customer-centric industries would be preferred.
