Data Scientist at A FinTech Company

Responsibilities

• Develop and train ML models for credit scoring, fraud detection, and risk prediction.
• Clean, preprocess, and prepare large datasets.
• Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimisation.
• Build automated pipelines for data processing and model training.
• Monitor model performance, data drift, and production issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Machine Learning or Data Science.
• Strong Python skills with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib/Seaborn.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling large datasets.
• Understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation, cross-validation, and overfitting.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Git.
• Basic knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and pipeline automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
