Job Summary
The Data Scientist is expected to develop analytical solutions (e.g. insights, visualization, models) to help solve problems and uncover opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business partners to understand the business challenges they are facing in order to determine the appropriate analytical solution
- Designs, implements and continuously improves analytical solutions
- Utilize machine learning techniques to analyze large amounts of information to find patters and solutions
- Communicate analytical solutions at different levels of the organization in an organized and compelling manner using fit-for -purpose materials
- Collaborate with Business and IT Teams to maximize use of data and analytical resources
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Management or similar undergraduate course; Masters/ PhD a plus
- At least 5 years' work experience in the field of Data and Analytics, preferably from Financial Industry
- Should have good command of R, Python, PowerBI, SQL, and at least one of the skills below: Business Intelligence, Campaign Analytics, Modelling
- Knowledge area in Theoretical and practical business requirements analysis, basic project management, data management, data mining to extract usable data from various sources
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati
