Data Scientist

Bracco is an international Group active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements.



We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Digital Transformation Office and help turn data into scalable business impact. The Data Scientist designs and deploys machine learning and advanced analytics solutions that create measurable business impact. In this role, you will work across business and technical teams to develop data-driven solutions, improve decision-making, and support key transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning and advanced analytics solutions for business use cases

  • Explore, clean, and structure data from multiple sources, including CRM, internal pipelines, and cloud platforms

  • Build, validate, and monitor predictive models and analytical workflows

  • Translate business needs into data science approaches, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes

  • Collaborate with data engineers, domain experts, and business stakeholders to industrialize solutions

  • Communicate insights and model outputs through clear visualizations, presentations, and recommendations

  • Support deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement of models and pipelines

  • Contribute to the adoption of data science best practices across the organization

What we are looking for

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or similar roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL

  • Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, or anomaly detection

  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data and analytics environments

  • Good understanding of model validation, performance monitoring, and reproducible workflows

  • Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex outputs to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with ML pipelines, MLOps, or model deployment workflows

  • Knowledge of statistics and experimental design

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments is a plus

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Employment terms

The role is classified at Level C under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico).
The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 36.556,24.
The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
