WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Data Scientist, you will: Serve as technical advisor for the administration and management of assigned projects and studies, including the direction and control of project planning, project review and findings; Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations; Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established project goals and objectives. Consult and collaborate with statistical, data science, artificial intelligence and public health professionals in the collection, linkage, processing, mining, coding, classification, and analysis of public health surveillance, research, and administrative health data. Develop expertise in the fields of health science, artificial intelligence, and programming languages as applied to public health.
