Data Scientist - Client Consultant
Summary
A Data Scientist embedded as a client consultant, analyzing large volumes of Visa transaction and portfolio data to find growth, revenue and retention opportunities across the cardholder journey. Day to day: building executive dashboards and presentations, defining KPIs, and automating reporting for senior leadership.
Data Analytics & Strategic Insights
Analyze large volumes of Visa transaction data to identify opportunities to grow the business, increase revenue, improve customer engagement, and enhance profitability.
Generate actionable insights throughout the cardholder journey, including customer acquisition, activation, spending growth, retention, and customer value management.
Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio performance, customer behavior, merchant spending patterns, and market opportunities across different markets and business groups.
Turn complex data and analytical findings into clear, practical business recommendations for senior management and leadership teams.
Executive Reporting & Business Decision Support
Develop dashboards, business reviews, and performance reports to support senior management in monitoring business performance.
Prepare executive presentations that highlight portfolio performance, key trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop measurement frameworks to support business planning and performance reviews.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decisions on product strategy, customer acquisition, marketing investments, loyalty programs, and portfolio management.
Data Visualization, Automation & Stakeholder Engagement
Automate regular reporting and analytical processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Develop reusable analytical tools, reporting templates, and frameworks to make data analysis and insight generation more efficient.
Work closely with senior business leaders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and prioritize analytical needs.
Clearly communicate analytical findings and present recommendations to senior executives and key decision-makers.
