Data Scientist - Computer Vision

【About the Role】
We are seeking Computer Vision Data Scientists to develop advanced image analytics and defect-classification solutions for manufacturing applications. This role focuses on image feature engineering, defect-analysis methodology, and machine learning model architecture design to improve inspection accuracy, process efficiency, and product quality.
You will apply your expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and data analysis to translate real-world inspection challenges into practical and scalable AI solutions.

【Responsibilities】

• Develop computer vision and deep learning solutions for image-based defect analysis and classification.
• Analyze image features and defect characteristics to improve model accuracy, robustness, and generalization.
• Develop image-rendering and simulation methodologies to support defect inspection processes.
• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning model architectures for defect inspection applications.
• Translate machine learning approaches into production-ready solutions that address specific inspection problems and deliver reliable results in real production workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and domain experts to validate analytical approaches and improve solutions based on production requirements.

【Key Qualifications】

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals, with proficiency in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
• Strong foundation in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and image processing.
• Experience using tools such as PyTorch, NumPy, and Pandas for image analysis, feature extraction, model training, and performance evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex image data and identify opportunities for model improvement.

【Preferred, but Not Required】

• Experience with industrial inspection, defect analysis, or manufacturing applications.
• Experience deploying machine learning models or supporting them in production environments.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
• Understanding of runtime and resource trade-offs, with experience developing models or systems that operate efficiently in production environments.

You do not need to meet every preferred qualification.
