Data Scientist

The role is based in our Analytics department, who help advertisers get the best returns on their marketing and promotional spend. You’ll develop accurate and appropriate analytic models, and beginning to interpret the analysis in order to create concise, insightful customer communications.

To develop accurate and appropriate analytic models, under the direction of team leaders, helping provide commercially impactful advisory services

To develop analytic tools and R/Python automation to help the business deliver its goal

To continually accumulate and develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and expertise

To contribute to team goals and profitability, by producing work to timetable

To be a technical expert, bringing knowledge of multiple regression, logistic modelling, genetic algorithms, test design and computationally efficient methods to the team (there is opportunity to learn these in the role)

You will have achieved at least a 2:1 degree in: Computer scientist, data scientist, software engineering, finance/economics or mathematics/statistics.

You will be competent with at least two of the following: R, Python, MATLAB, SQL, VBA

Web programming skills would be advantageous but are not necessary!

Experience in media or marketing industry would be advantageous but not necessary!

Be able to communicate clearly in both Spanish and English

Intellectually curious with an open mind, a self-starter, genuinely interested in data driven analysis

We are hiring at multiple levels, but most interested in new graduates and applicants with between 1-5 years of experience
