Job Purpose

To develop, implement, and optimize advanced computer vision solutions that enhance product intelligence, automation, and user experience across TVS Motor's engineering, manufacturing, and operational domains. The role aims to leverage state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems, enabling the company's vision of smart mobility and intelligent systems.

Role Description

• Design and develop computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, segmentation, recognition, and pose estimation.
• Train and optimize deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Preprocess and manage large-scale image and video datasets for training and evaluation.
• Integrate vision models into software systems ensuring efficient and real-time performance.
• Deploy models on embedded platforms and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) for scalable applications.
• Utilize GPU/TPU hardware for accelerating training and inference tasks.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to improve accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and research units.
• Work in an Agile development environment, managing tasks via tools like JIRA and version control using GitHub.
• Perform image/video annotation and labeling to support supervised learning pipelines.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
• Document algorithms, processes, and research outcomes for internal knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and potentially publish in research journals/conferences.
• Support product development with domain-specific computer vision solutions relevant to the automotive and mobility sector.

Education Qualification

BE/ME in Any Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with a strong focus on computer vision.

Experience

2-4 years of experience in developing and implementing computer vision algorithms
