Accountabilities:
- Analyze digital partnership performance to identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and overall partner economics.
- Design, execute, and evaluate experiments aimed at improving conversion, partner performance, and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop forecasts, performance models, analytical frameworks, and decision-support tools to inform strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Build measurement approaches that quantify partner value, incrementality, and broader business impact.
- Investigate anomalies, monitor trends, and diagnose changes in performance to provide timely and actionable recommendations.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems, selecting appropriate quantitative methodologies and clearly communicating conclusions.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across areas such as pricing, underwriting, product, marketing, acquisition, and partnerships.
- Present analytical findings, recommendations, and tradeoffs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop scalable analytical processes and tools that improve consistency, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the digital partnerships business.
- Take ownership of analytical initiatives from problem definition and methodology selection through implementation and delivery of business impact.
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to real-world business problems.
- Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, machine learning, or related quantitative methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytical problem-solving.
- Ability to transform ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical frameworks and practical recommendations.
- Strong analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, and attention to methodological rigor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence decisions through data.
- Strong sense of ownership, with a track record of taking projects from initial problem definition through implementation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with business and technical teams.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, marketplaces, or customer acquisition environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with attribution, incrementality measurement, forecasting, optimization, pricing, underwriting, risk, or marketing analytics is advantageous.
- Experience deploying statistical or machine learning models into production environments is a plus.
- A Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field is advantageous.
- Base salary: $119,000–$148,700 per year.
