Data Scientist - Industrial Analytics, Milan

Bracco Medical Technologies in Milan is seeking a Data Scientist - Industrial Analytics to shape data-driven strategies and optimize operations across the organization. You will combine data integration, statistics, and visualization with simulation to address manufacturing challenges.

The role joins the Transformation & Performance Improvement team, focusing on manufacturing analytics, reporting, and capacity optimization across Technical Operations. Fluent in English and Italian required.

Apply statistical methods to industrial metrics such as yields, cycle times, OEE, process variability and anomalies. Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL. Develop Power BI dashboards, data models and KPIs to monitor performance and support reporting across Technical Operations. Contribute to discrete-event simulation and scheduling optimization projects, including OR-Tools. Work directly with production sites to identify improvement opportunities. Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field. 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science. Strong Python and SQL skills. Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, discrete-event simulation or OR-Tools is a plus. Fluent in English and Italian.
