Build and deploy data pipelines on AWS to analyze energy/utilities data using Python, SQL, and Agile workflows.

Data Scientist
Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end functionalities on an AWS cloud-based big data platform, focused on data analysis and processing.
Actively participate in discussions around feature architecture and the definition of the required data flows and processes.
Create proof of concepts (PoCs).
Develop production versions, test them, deploy them to the cloud across development, QA, and production environments, monitor their initial operation, and perform debugging and ongoing maintenance/enhancements.
Document the functionalities developed.
Provide support for data extraction and exploratory data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
3+ years of experience in similar roles
Experience with Python, particularly in data manipulation and processing.
Experience with SQL.
Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (preferred).
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
