Data Scientist - Manufacturing Analytics

【About the Role】
We are seeking Manufacturing Analytics Data Scientists to develop analytical solutions using manufacturing and operational data. This role focuses on uncovering patterns in production data through statistical analysis, predictive modeling, root-cause investigation, and process improvement to support data-driven decision-making.
You will work with complex production data across equipment, machine learning systems, and time to identify meaningful patterns, develop practical analytical methodologies, and transform successful approaches into scalable, stable, and maintainable solutions.

【Responsibilities】

• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to manufacturing and operational data.
• Identify key factors affecting operational performance by analyzing macro-level trends, temporal patterns, and changes across production conditions.
• Conduct exploratory analysis and design experiments to validate hypotheses and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop predictive models and root-cause analysis methodologies for real-world production problems.
• Deliver actionable insights through analytical tools, data products, visualizations, and reporting solutions.

【Key Qualifications】

• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental design for solving real-world engineering problems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using analytical tools such as Pandas for large-scale data analysis and scikit-learn or similar tools for predictive modeling.
• Experience working with structured datasets and developing analytical approaches to extract actionable insights from complex manufacturing or operational data.
• Strong capabilities in exploratory data analysis, root-cause investigation, predictive analytics, and model evaluation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business and engineering challenges into data-driven solutions.

【Preferred, but Not Required】

• Experience with industrial inspection, manufacturing processes, quality engineering, or operational analytics.
• Experience developing production-grade analytics solutions, data products, or automated reporting systems.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
