I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Scope, build and maintain database effectively to help facilitate modelling, analysis & reporting needs
- Scope and develop relevant new reports & dashboards in a timely manner to track business performance
- Work closely with the Data science managers in construct and test marketing concepts & initiatives by applying advanced analytics techniques
- Reliable and can work independently taking responsibility for own actions and queries whilst demonstrating a consistent work output
- Team player, both supporting and motivating all team members to achieve business objectives and common goals
- Promote a positive team atmosphere under the Company Mission and Belief
II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, applied science or related discipline
Experience Requirement:
- 2-3 years’ experience in data science / machine learning
- Gaming experiences highly regarded but not essential
- Demonstrated success working with large data sets, developing tools for streamlined analysis and creating reports that succinctly summarize complex concepts
Leadership Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment Excellent organizational and decision making skills
Technical Skills:
- Competent programming skills, including SQL, Python, SAS, R, and depending on the scope of project, text mining or machine learning
- Expertise in a range of data mining, visualization and statistical techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts such as customer value cycle, segmentation practices
Other Qualifications:
- Read, write, and speak in English
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and with interest in the gaming industry
- Able to work flexible schedule and outside the standard work week whenever necessary
- Well-groomed and with professional appearance
- Proficiency in Tagalog/Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese/Korean is an advantage
