Data Scientist

Peerless is seeking a Data Scientist supporting The Joint Warfare Analysis Center in Dahlgren, VA. Successful candidates will have expertise in data normalization; expertise in analysis of large data sets and addressing imputation (missing data); expertise with R and/or Python; experience visualizing data analysis results; familiarity with constructive simulation systems (e.g., AFSIM, ITASE, NGTS)

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data from various sources, identify positive and negative trends and report detailed information using graphs, charts, and spreadsheets.
  • Support data normalization.
  • Analyze large data sets and addressing imputation (missing data).
  • Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives or contributes to the implementation of strategic direction.
  • Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicates with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
  • Experience with Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB preferred
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (some positions may require SAP)
