Data Scientist

Your Tasks

Responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and improving Power BI reports and data models while ensuring good performance, data security, and collaboration with IT, data engineering, and business teams.

To ensure that you will-

• End to end responsibility for the design, development, testing, and deployment of tailored BI solutions, including comparison, scenario, and ad hoc analyses.
• Development, Maintenance, standardization, and continuous optimization of existing Power BI reports, data models, and dataflows
• Ensuring best practices across data modeling, DAX performance optimization, governance, security, and visual design
• Close alignment with adjacent functions such as Data Engineering, IT, and business departments

Your qualification/ minimum requirements -

• BE/ME/MBA in Business analytics/Computer Science/IT
• Data Visualization & Reporting
• Microsoft Power BI (Expert Level)
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL300)
• Power Apps (integration and extension of BI scenarios)
• Python (e.g., for advanced analytics or custom visual extensions)
• Data Analytics & Modeling
• DAX (Mandatory, Advanced Level)
• Data modeling (star schema, performance optimization, best practices)
• SQL (analysis, querying, performance tuning)
• Python (data analysis, scripting)
• Microsoft Excel (advanced)
• Cloud & Data Platforms : AWS basics, Amazon Redshift
• Solid understanding of modern cloudbased analytics and BI architectures
• Collaboration, Delivery & DevOps : Jira , Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)

• Software & Tool skills:
  Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Python, DAX, SQL, Microsoft Excel, AWS, Amazon Redshift, Jira, Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
• Good to Have:

Enterprise Analytics (advantageous), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, Additional Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure, Data)

Experience with enterprisewide BI governance and security models
