We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team. Your data insights will be pivotal to optimising operational workflows and advancing our platform’s management intelligence capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean large-scale operational datasets from testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) systems, and identify and resolve data anomalies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Apply mathematical, statistical, programming, and database techniques to analyse complex laboratory, calibration, and compliance data across multiple regulated industries.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced algorithms and data models that transform raw operational data into actionable insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence frameworks to extract trends, patterns, and predictions from test, calibration, and quality records.
- Evaluate and adjust models to improve accuracy and performance, interpret results, and present data-driven findings to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into scalable software features and enhanced management intelligence tooling.
- Ensure data science practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO/IEC 17025, NATA, and NABL, and support audit-ready record traceability.
- Provide strategic input and drive innovation for our data science initiatives, keeping our platform at the forefront of TIC technology and supporting laboratory digital transformation.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional experience as a Data Scientist
- Advanced practical expertise in statistics, machine learning and rare-event evaluation, paired with strong Python and SQL capabilities
- Demonstrated track record of independently delivering complex analytical solutions and deploying them into live operational environments
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools and techniques to communicate complex analytical outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
