Data Scientist - Production Solutions

【About the Role】
We are seeking Data Scientists specializing in Productionization to validate, improve, and sustain machine learning solutions in real production environments. This role focuses on evaluating model performance using production data, investigating model failure modes, identifying data and distribution changes, and ensuring that model improvements address the actual production problem through on-site validation.
You will work closely with machine learning engineers, data scientists, and production engineers to identify actionable insights, deploy reliable solutions, and ensure our machine learning systems continue to deliver value in day-to-day production use.

【Responsibilities】

• Evaluate machine learning model performance using real production data and conduct model error analysis to understand when, where, and why model performance degrades.
• Plan and conduct user acceptance testing, production validation, and rollout activities for our machine learning systems in production.
• Collaborate with factory users and engineering teams to gather feedback, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement of machine learning products.
• Support the transition of machine learning solutions from development into stable and maintainable production systems.
• Monitor deployed solutions and improve their reliability, usability, performance, and operational readiness.

【Key Qualifications】

• Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals, with proficiency in Python, C++ or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience evaluating machine learning models, conducting error analysis, and translating analytical findings into model or data improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to investigate issues across data, software, infrastructure, and production systems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and support machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with end users, engineers, and operational teams in fast-paced environments.

【Preferred, but Not Required】

• Experience with industrial inspection, manufacturing applications, or production data systems.
• Experience with on-site deployment, user acceptance testing, production rollout, and operational validation.
• Experience supporting machine learning applications, model continuous-improvement workflows, or performance-monitoring systems.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, or other production environments.
• Experience working with Linux environments, Git-based development workflows, and container technologies such as Docker.

You do not need to meet every preferred qualification. We value hands-on experience bringing machine learning applications into production, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn actionable insights into reliable solutions in fast-paced production environments.
