# Data Analyst ## Company Overview (Not specified) ## Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented **Data Analyst** to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams including business, marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, and product to build dashboards, identify trends, measure business performance, and provide actionable recommendations. ## Responsibilities - **Business Analytics & Insights** - Analyze large datasets to identify business trends, growth opportunities, and operational improvements. - Translate business requirements into data-driven insights and recommendations. - Develop reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making. - Perform deep-dive analysis to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency. - **Data Management & Reporting** - Extract, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources. - Develop automated dashboards and Management Information System (MIS) reports for business stakeholders. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems. - Create daily, weekly, and monthly business reports. - **Dashboard Development** - Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence (BI) tools. - Build Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards for different business functions. - Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. - **Business Performance Analysis** - Monitor KPIs across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce. - Identify trends, anomalies, and business risks through data analysis. - Perform variance analysis against targets and forecasts. - Provide recommendations to optimize business performance. - **Advanced Analytics** - Perform cohort analysis, customer segmentation, funnel analysis, and predictive trend analysis. - Support pricing analysis, demand forecasting, customer behavior analysis, and business planning. - Conduct A/B testing and campaign performance analysis. - Develop forecasting models to support business growth. - **Cross-functional Collaboration** - Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams. - Gather business requirements and convert them into analytical solutions. - Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams. - Support strategic projects through data analysis. ## Qualifications - **Technical Skills:** - Strong expertise in SQL (mandatory). - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Macros). - Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio. - Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design. - Knowledge of statistical analysis and business intelligence concepts. - Experience working with large datasets and relational databases. - **Soft Skills:** - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Strong business acumen with the ability to convert data into actionable insights. - **Educational Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Master’s degree or MBA in Analytics is preferred. ## Preferred Skills - 5–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst. - Experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), E-commerce, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Consumer Goods, Retail, Beauty & Personal Care, or Startup environments is highly preferred. - Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure, or AWS) is an added advantage. - Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus. ## Experience 6-10 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles. ## Environment The position will be based in **Mumbai**, with a **hybrid work model** that combines in-office and remote work. ## Salary (Not specified) ## Growth Opportunities (Not specified) ## Benefits (Not specified)
