Data Scientist Senior - GenAI Solutions

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for GenAI Solutions in Italy. The role requires hands-on Generative AI, cloud/hybrid ML, and leadership across data science teams. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver end-to-end AI projects.

The position is hybrid/flexible, with responsibilities spanning data wrangling, model development, and deployment in diverse environments across Bari, Milan and other Italian locations.

Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, ML Engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate involved data scientists. Act as main point of contact with client-side stakeholders. Ensure project tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard. Work with data engineers to productionize pipelines including data ingestion and model training. 3–5 years of experience as data scientist. Strong Python (mandatory) and SQL coding. Knowledge of Java/Scala or C++/R a plus. TensorFlow and PyTorch with a focus on vision tasks. Knowledge of ML solutions architecture and Generative AI pipelines. Cloud and hybrid ML implementations.
