This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STEM Positions, Cyber Security & Related Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the ILSC's Data Scientist under the general administrative direction of the Deputy Director, Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC), and is responsible to develop, direct, and control the program and operations of the ILSC Data & Analytics Center (DAC)
Maintains insight into the organization's mission and the associated data, sources ofrecord, and data owners
Develop long-range strategic plan to meet current requirements and achieve required data and analytics maturity levels
Serves as leader or member of conferences and planning and policy making committees which have DA-wide significance and impact
Develops training, marketing, and other tools as a means of increasing knowledge of data management and data analysis within the organizational community
Analyzes a variety of data sources to provide data-driven insights to the organizations to streamline processes
