DATA SCIENTIST

You will serve as a DATA SCIENTIST in the DIRECTORATE MARITIME INFORMATION WARFARE, DIRECTOR OF INTELLIGENCE Office (Code N2).

You will perform a wide range of complex data science and machine learning duties in support of COMPACFLT operational requirements.

You will design, develop, test and deploy machine learning (ML) and AI models to address key operational challenges for the Pacific Fleet

You will research and implement advanced algorithms and statistical techniques suitable for large, complex, and diverse datasets.

You will identify, acquire and prepare relevant datasets for AI model development including data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering and validation.

You will conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns and insights that can inform operational planning and strategy.

You will develop and maintain data pipelines to support the continuous training and evaluation of AI models.

You will serve as a technical advisor on data science and AI matters for the command and provide expert consultation to operational planners and decision-makers on the capabilities and limitations of AI technologies.
