Data Security Analyst
Summary
A Data Security Analyst who coordinates PCI compliance, manages data discovery scans, identifies and protects sensitive data, and manages security incidents using tools like Data Stealth and ServiceNow.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating physical site inspections, managing hardware life cycles, and guiding application onboarding for PCI compliance for PCI-WIM
- Support PCI DSS compliance and application onboarding activities.
- Operate and monitor enterprise data discovery scans using Data Stealth.
- Identify, classify, and protect sensitive data (PII, PCI, PHI).
- Troubleshoot scan failures and security-related issues.
- Analyze scan results and validate security findings.
- Collaborate with technical teams to drive remediation efforts.
- Manage ServiceNow incidents, requests, and escalations.
- Maintain stakeholder communications and compliance attestations.
- Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and tooling.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Good knowledge Linux/Windows, especially using PowerShell or bash script, Example: Of the 8+ years experience, 3+ years of that developer experience must be with python.
- ITSM / ServiceNow ticket management & triage.
- Foundational App/DB architecture & Network security
- Database security management (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliance and web security concepts
Nice to have Skills
- Data Privacy Principles and Legislation (Data Classification, Security Safeguards, Record Retention, PIPEDA, Law 25, PHIPA, GDPR)
- UI testing, production test. CI/CD, Linux and Windows
